LiftLane is a workout tracking app. This page explains what data is collected, why, and how it's protected.

Data we collect

Category	Details
Account	Email address and password, to create and secure your account. With Sign in with Apple: the identifier, the email address (yours or Apple's private relay address) and the name that Apple shares with us. Your first name, if you enter it.
Workout data	Body weight, routines, completed sessions, sets/reps/weights lifted, personal records, preferences (goal, level, equipment, weight unit, language) — everything you enter yourself in the app.
Technical diagnostics	If an error occurs: your account ID and email (to tell accounts apart), device/OS information, and the technical context of the error — via Sentry, used only to fix bugs.

Where your data is stored

Your data is stored securely via Supabase (EU hosting). Technical error reports are sent to Sentry, used solely for diagnostic purposes.

How your routine is generated

To build a routine, the answers you give during setup (goal, level, training days, session length, equipment, muscles to prioritise, areas to go easy on and, if you provide it, sex) are sent through our server to OpenAI, whose AI model drafts the routine. The request does not contain your name, your email address or your account ID. Your sex is used only for this request and is not saved in your profile.

Notifications

The app may send you local notifications (for example, a rest-timer alert) directly from your device — no data is sent to any push notification server for this.

Your rights

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time, directly from the app (Settings → Delete my account), or by contacting us below.

Android waitlist

If you join the Android waitlist on this website, we store the email address, first name and training goal you enter, and the language of the page. We use them only to confirm your sign-up and to tell you when LiftLane is available on Android. They are stored via Supabase (EU hosting), and the confirmation email is sent through our email provider, IONOS. To be removed from the list, use the Unsubscribe link in the confirmation email, or contact us below.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the "last updated" date at the top of the page will be revised.
